Opifex-Synergy is hiring a Yard Technician to keep the yard organized, assist customers with check-in/check-out, and provide basic training for equipment use. The role supports efficient operations in a busy rental environment and requires the ability to work in outdoor, physically demanding conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Valid state-issued Driver’s License.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for rent by cleaning with a power washer.
• Ensure proper PPE is worn while working in the yard.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment.
• Provide customers with basic operational training as needed.
• Fuel and meter equipment upon check-in.
• Record fuel logs and other required information.
• Stage equipment for deliveries.
• Maintain organized yard layout and equipment placement.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the yard.
• Ensure all rental equipment is properly tagged and includes required keys.
• Perform small deliveries and pickups using a pickup truck as needed.
