Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring a Yard Technician at our Grain Valley, MO rental facility. You will help keep the storage yard in top shape, assist with maintenance, and support daily operations. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime and on-call compensation.

Qualifications

• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment condition before and after use.
• Document incoming and outgoing equipment.
• Assist with routine inspections, repairs, maintenance and cleaning.
• Demonstrate, load and unload equipment.
• Maintain equipment inventory per SOPs.
• Keep yard and shop clean and safe.
• Support a culture of safety and customer experience.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by the GM.

We’re hiring a Yard Technician at our rental facility in Grain Valley, MO, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. Yard Technicians are responsible for helping the rental facility keep their storage yard in top shape by helping with maintenance and every day tasks of a rental facility.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and offers overtime pay after working 40 hours. (This role is subject to on-call scheduling with additional compensation provided)

Primary Responsibilities

• Inspect and report equipment condition before and after usage
• Document incoming and outgoing equipment
• Assist with routine inspections, repairs, maintenance and equipment cleaning
• Demonstrate, load and unload equipment
• Maintain equipment inventory systems according to standard operating procedures
• Serve as responsible for general yard and shop cleanup in accordance with company standards
• Maintain a safe and hazard-free workplace
• Serve as an advocate for EquipmentShare’s culture and uphold our high standards of customer experience
• Assist with various other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to be outside during extreme temperatures
• Must be able to stand, sit, bend and stoop
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen
• Must be at least 18 years old to be in EquipmentShare yard
