Job summary

The JOY FM is seeking a Yard Supervisor to lead our outdoor yard operations. You will oversee a team, ensure safety in varying seasons, and maintain an organized yard to meet Stovall standards.

Responsibilities include unloading freight, tracking items received, and helping load company trucks for deliveries to wholesale and retail customers. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service, the ability to lift 60 lbs, reliable transportation, and a proactive work ethic in a fast-paced outdoor

Responsibilities

• Lead exterior yard team to ensure organized, presentable yard per Stovall standards.

Description:

YARD SUPERVISOR: This job will consist of a person being the Lead in our outside yard and leading a team of individuals with daily tasks of responsibilities in our large Plant and Hardscape yard. This person will have to ensure that safety is taken to the fullest in a seasonal changing environment while operating the duties required outside. This person will be responsible for making sure that the yard is fully organized and maintained to an presentable appearance of Stovall standards. This person will also be responsible on a daily basis of unloading Freight deliveries and making sure that items received are accounted for and have no freight damage or dead growth. This person will also be responsible for maintaining inventory of the Nursery Yard and assuring that our inventory is kept to manageable stock. This person will also assist in loading the company trucks for delivery for the wholesale and retail customers on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

This person must be able to provide own Transportation and be able to pass a Drug Test and have very good customer service skills for they will be dealing with customers on a daily basis. Also must be able to lift 60lbs. This person must have a positive attitude and display a want to work ethic.
