Job summary

RB Global, Inc. is seeking a Part Time Yard Staff to safely receive, process, line up, and support sale days for consigned equipment.

The role requires adherence to RB Global’s customer service standards and the ability to work on-site at our Fort Worth location. Responsibilities include receiving and releasing equipment for auction, lining up items for display, operating heavy and light machinery, performing basic maintenance on RB-owned equipment, managing keys, and supporting auction day

• Uses an auction listing to line up equipment for display prior to auction.
• Drives/operates heavy and light equipment.
• Performs facility inspections and housekeeping or maintenance as necessary.
• Manages keys for equipment.

Job description

The Part Time Yard Staff safely receives, processes, lines up, sale day support and check-out consigned equipment for the auction. Strict adherence to the Ritchie Bros. standard of customer service is always expected of the Yard Staff

• Receives/releases (checks-in/checks-out) consigned equipment for auction.
• Uses an auction listing to line up equipment for display prior to auction.
• Drives/operates heavy and light equipment.
• Performs facility inspections (per checklists) and provides housekeeping or maintenance services as necessary.
• Performs basic maintenance on RBA owned equipment.
• Manages keys for equipment.
• Operates forklift to load/unload stationary row equipment.
• Basic assembly of equipment i.e. dozer blades, etc.
• Checks fluid and fuel levels on equipment.
• Sets out signage, flagging, and trash receptacles for auction day.
• Drives sound truck.
• Holds ‘This item for sale sign’ (stick person).
• Places operators in rolling stock.
• Parks sold equipment on the ramp.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Valid driver's license meeting company’s motor vehicle policy required
