Job summary

Pratt Industries in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a dock operator to move trailers on and off the dock safely, keep the yard organized, and inspect arriving trailers. The role requires following safety policies, excellent attention to detail, and willingness to work nights and weekends when needed.

Minimum six months of machinery operation experience and a valid driver's license are required. Travel and some overtime may be necessary; a drug screen and background check are required for hire.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver License required.
• Minimum six months experience operating machinery.
• Must follow safety policies and procedures as outlined.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers on and off the dock safely.
• Keep the storage yard organized.
• Inspect trailers on arrival and perform pre-shift checks on yard spotter truck.
• Adhere to safety policies and Employee Handbook requirements.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
