Job summary

R.P. Lumber in Edwardsville, IL is hiring a Yard Associate to perform customer service, load deliveries, and keep the yard organized and safe. This on-site, full-time position requires the ability to lift 50–100 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

You will report to the Yard Manager; forklift experience is helpful and training is provided. Pay is $15.00–$20.00 per hour, with benefits after full-time employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Flexibility for weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Help load customer vehicles and company trucks.
• Unload incoming freight and stock yard areas.
• Operate a forklift to stock and merchandise.
• Ride along deliveries to unload at jobsites.
• Follow safety rules and keep yard clean and safe.
