Job summary

Townsend Building Supply, a division of Carter Lumber, is seeking a Yard Associate to join our outdoor team. You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with selecting and loading orders, and help stage materials for pickup or delivery.

As part of a family-owned company, you will help maintain yard inventory, perform cycle counts, and keep the yard clean and organized. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and teamwork outdoors.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Friendly personality.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Ability to work outside in all conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and DIYers with order selection and loading.
• Pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery.
• Maintain Yard inventory with cycle counts.
• Keep Yard organized and clean.

Description

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean.
