Job summary

Prime in Weatherford, TX is seeking a Yard Hand to support day-to-day shop and yard operations. You will load, unload, move materials, and assist a team that keeps projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player.
• Ability for cross training in other areas of the shop.
• Follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading material from machines.
• Assist operators and drivers in the retail shop/ store and yard.
• Handle and transport materials and equipment within the facility.
• Use power tools and machinery when needed.
• Set out or put away tools when needed.
• Clean up store and yard free of debris, dirt, and hazardous material.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to perform tasks.
• Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions.
