Job summary

Prime Metal Buildings & Components is seeking a Yard Hand to support day-to-day operations in our retail shop and steel yard in Weatherford, TX. You will assist with loading/unloading, moving materials, and keeping the yard clean and safe.

The role requires following safety procedures, strong teamwork, and reliability to meet daily targets in a busy environment. This is an on-site position with potential for cross-training and growth within the yard operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player.
• Follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY:

Our Yard Hand is responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations within our retail shop/ store and steel yard.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in loading and unloading material from machines.

• Occasional exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather).
• While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
