Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Warehouse/Material Handler at our Fargo, ND location. The role involves daily equipment inspections, safe loading/unloading of trucks, and operating forklifts to move and position inventory.

You will coordinate with drivers, ensure accurate paperwork, and support yard operations in all weather conditions. Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of driving experience, a valid CDL and driver’s license, and forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• CDL license required; Valid Driver’s License also required.
• Forklift certification preferred; ND Environmental Class A or B may be required; Class C required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document daily equipment inspections.
• Safely load/unload trucks and verify 100% load accuracy.
• Able to flex between CDL and Forklift operator.
• Reconfigure loads for safe transport.
• Communicate multi-drops or special load requirements to drivers.
• Report damaged product promptly for QA review or regrind.
• Identify and re-band bales to ensure safety and reduce damage.
• Advise Customer Accounts or Traffic Manager on QA issues or delays.
• Follow safe loading procedures and advise drivers on safety policies.
• Perform snow removal for yards, parking and sidewalks; maintain yard cleanliness.
• Operate forklifts safely and handle products to prevent injuries.
• Suggest operational improvements to supervisor.
• Overtime may be required during peak periods or snow removal.
• ND Environmental Class A/B certification holders may certify others to Class C.

Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Perform and document daily equipment inspections.
• Safely load/unload trucks, verify and complete all paperwork to ensure 100% load accuracy.
• Ability to flex between CDL and Forklift operator
• Reconfigure loads as needed to ensure safe transport.

• Identify and re-band bales as needed to ensure safety and prevent product damage
• Promptly advise Customer Account Representatives or the Traffic Manager on any potential QA issues or delays with shipments.
• Follow safe loading procedures and advise drivers on safety and strapping policies.
• Perform snow removal for yards, parking and sidewalk areas.
• Maintain yard cleanliness and pipe organization.
• Maintain excellent customer service and driver relations.
• Operate forklifts safely and handle products responsibly to prevent injuries.
• Identify and suggest operational improvements to the supervisor.
• Extended hours or mandatory overtime may be required during peak business periods or for snow removal.
• Yard personnel holding the ND Environmental Class A/B certification may certify other Yard personnel to Class C status.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant driving experience.

Certifications:

• CDL license (required)
• Valid Driver’s License (required for operating yard trucks and other vehicles)
• Forklift certification preferred (may be issued by NPP)
• ND Environmental Certificate Class A or B may be required. Class C is required. (issued

by NPP)
