Job summary

Garney Construction is seeking a Superintendent to lead yard piping operations on water and wastewater projects and supervise crews performing underground and above-ground piping. You will coordinate schedules, materials, and safety programs while collaborating with project teams on field issues.

This role requires a civil or construction management degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong leadership and reading drawings. Travel as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field experience.
• 5+ years of underground utility, process piping, or heavy civil construction experience with leadership experience as a Foreman or Superintendent.
• Experience leading self-perform yard piping or underground utility crews.
• Water/wastewater treatment plant experience preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings, utility layouts, and project schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork, with willingness to travel as needed.
