Nucor Corporation is hiring a Production teammate in Rockledge, FL. This outdoor, hands-on role supports daily yard operations, handles material, assists customers, and operates equipment in a fast-paced environment. Safety is paramount, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Outdoor environment and fast-paced production setting.
• Ability to stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift.
• Lift up to 40 lbs; occasional 15–25 lbs.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Minimum 1 year general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to work safely and follow procedures.
• Candidates within 50 miles radius preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety programs.
• Perform general labor: sweeping, shoveling, housekeeping, yard clean-up.
• Assist with weighing, sorting, inspecting, and moving scrap materials in the yard.
• Inspect incoming scrap and vehicles; advise customers on accepted materials.
• Operate forklifts and other yard equipment as trained.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Cross-train in other positions and assist teammates as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
