Job summary

The Ground Up in Houston, TX is hiring a Yard Associate and Forklift Operator to support day-to-day operations at our landscape supply yard. You will safely operate heavy equipment, perform daily inspections, and help maintain a clean, organized work area while providing reliable customer service.

This role requires a HS diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and hands-on forklift experience. You will travel to occasional sites and collaborate with the team to manage inventory, quality control,

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating heavy equipment safely in busy sites.
• Good communication and reliability a must.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for 8+ hours daily, in all weather conditions.
• Perform daily walk-around inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain organized work area and effective housekeeping.
• Support inventory control and product handling.
• Travel to different project sites within Houston area as needed.
• Ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
