Job summary

Pipeline Plastics, LLC in Texas is seeking a warehouse/shipping associate. This role requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required, and reports directly to CS Shipping.

You will handle receiving, inventory control, and daily transactions while ensuring safe operations and adherence to PPE policies. Responsibilities include forklift operation, cycle-counts, product rotation, and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environment
• Immediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries to Shipping Manager
• Practice proper forklift and yard vehicle operation and preventive maintenance
• Daily check all inventory transactions from the material handlers
• Maintain and build job skills through company training programs
• Unload and receive all products and distribute
• Process all RMA’s including inspections and delivery of product to correct location
• On a weekly bases maintain safety committee responsibilities
• Conduct cycle-counts
• Ensure proper product rotation
• Maintain paperwork and product transfers
• Finished Goods quality inspections
• Promote good customer service
• Conduct weekly forklift inspections
• Assist with any and all safety training for employees

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in extreme temperatures
• Position requires full range of body motion including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting, and the ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment
• Ability to use hands, arms, and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods
