Ziegler CAT in Altoona, IA is seeking a full-time Yard Operator to support customers, service, and sales teams. You will manage yard operations, greet customers, and ensure accurate equipment documentation while keeping a clean, safe environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience, with strong organizational and communication skills. Starting pay ranges from $25.00 to $34.00 per hour and includes standard benefits.

Ziegler CAT has an opening for a full-time Yard Operator to support our customers, service, and sales personnel. We are looking for a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic and excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills to help support our growth.

Responsibilities

• Ship, receive, and operate equipment in the yard

Qualifications

• Lift bulky objects
• Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, supine overhead reaching, crawling, bin lift, high steps, fingering/grasping – able to use bolt box.
• Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 to $34.00

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
