Job summary

Luby Shoring Services in Missouri is seeking a dependable Yard Laborer to support daily yard operations. This hands-on role handles materials, prepares rental equipment, fulfills customer orders, and keeps the yard organized and safe.

The position offers starting pay of $17-$20 per hour with weekly pay, company-provided safety gear and uniforms, boot reimbursement, a competitive benefits package, and paid holidays and PTO. Must pass drug screening and wear PPE as required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of yard/warehouse experience (preferred).
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a drug screening per safety requirements.
• Must wear PPE including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, and rain gear when pressure washing.
• Physically demanding work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trench boxes, shoring equipment, and other materials from trucks using a forklift or manual handling.
• Maintain rental equipment by cleaning, pressure washing, lubricating, repairing, and repainting returned items to rent-ready standards.
• Assemble trench safety equipment and safely signal operators during setup.
• Pull and prepare customer orders, process returns, and organize inventory.
• Keep yard, warehouse, and work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free; report issues.
• Coordinate incoming/outgoing yard traffic for safe movement of trucks and equipment.
• Assist customers with inquiries, equipment pickup/returns, and direct to appropriate team members.
• Support daily operations to keep equipment moving and inventory ready.
