Qualifications

• Proven experience in yard operations, logistics, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to operate yard equipment (forklifts/pallet jacks); certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily yard operations, including movement and storage of materials.
• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and other departments to ensure workflow.
• Monitor safety compliance and enforce company policies.
• Assign tasks and guide yard personnel to meet operational deadlines.
• Conduct regular inspections of yard equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of yard activities, inventory, and equipment usage.
• Resolve operational issues and conflicts promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Train new yard staff on procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
