Job summary

Central Valley is seeking a Yard Supervisor for its Fairfield facility to lead yard operations, manage loading/unloading, and maintain inventory accuracy. You will tag materials, supervise yard associates, and collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure safe, efficient deliveries.

The role requires strong measuring skills, experience with forklifts, and 5+ years in yard/warehouse environments, with supervisory responsibilities. Local travel not required.

Qualifications

• Strong measuring skills are required.
• Familiarity with power and hand tools.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• 2+ years managing or driving operational processes or procedures.
• 3+ years of customer service experience.
• 5+ years of yard/warehouse experience.
• 2+ years of forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Locate, load and unload building materials in the yard and warehouse.
• Write accurate yard tags to ensure inventory count.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Lead yard associates and assist the Store Manager in yard operations.
• Direct loading/unloading and load packages onto trucks for delivery to customer job sites.
• Rotate stock to maintain product quality and retail readiness.
• Operate and maintain forklift and yard equipment safely.
