Qualifications

• Strong supervisory skills for leading yard staff and scheduling.
• Experience with yard management, safety, and logistics coordination.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment including forklifts and basic inspection.
• Excellent communication with drivers, customers, and teammates.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and lift/move equipment.
• Prior experience in equipment rental, construction, or related industries preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily yard operations: organize equipment, loading/unloading, and safe movement of rentals.
• Lead yard staff: assign tasks, monitor performance, ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Inspect equipment for damage and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Operate forklifts and other yard equipment as needed.
• Support customers and drivers with pickups and returns and coordinate with counter staff.
