Job summary

AmeriFence Corporation of Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Yard Operations & Inventory Specialist to join our Madison area yard team. The role involves loading, unloading, organizing building materials, and assisting customers in a fast-paced outdoor yard environment.

A valid driver’s license with a clean record is required, and CDL is a plus. The ideal candidate will have forklift and skid steer experience, be able to lift up to 100 pounds, and work well in all weather.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and skid steers, load and unload trucks with fencing materials.
• Maintain yard to ensure proper storage and organization.
• Attend to company staff and customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist with inventory counts and materials tracking.
• Perform general yard maintenance, including cleanup and minor repairs.
• Help with deliveries or other tasks as needed.

Do you enjoy working outdoors, operating machinery, and being part of a solid team? AmeriFence of Wisconsin is looking for a hardworking, dependable and detail-oriented Yard Operations & Inventory Specialistto join our Madison team in the materials yard.

Our Inventory Specialists operate heavy equipmentto load, unload, and organize building materials for wholesale orders and distribution for company jobs, assist with inventory, and attend to customers and company staff in yard operations, all while maintaining a safe and tidy working environment. This is a full-time position that works year-round. The ideal candidate has forklift and skid steer experience. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required, CDL strongly preferred. Must pass criminal background check and drug screen, if offered the position.
