Job summary

American Fence Company of Lincoln is seeking a Yard Operations & Inventory Specialist to join our Lincoln yard team. The role involves loading, unloading, and organizing building materials, while supporting inventory and assisting customers and staff in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

The ideal candidate has forklift and skid steer experience, the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. CDL is a plus; background check and drug screen may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and skid steers, load and unload trucks with fencing materials.
• Maintain yard to ensure proper storage and organization.
• Attend to company staff and customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist with inventory counts and materials tracking.
• Perform general yard maintenance, including cleanup and minor repairs.
• Help with deliveries or other tasks as needed.

Do you enjoy working outdoors, operating machinery, and being part of a solid team? American Fence Company of Lincoln is looking for a hardworking, dependable and detail-oriented Yard Operations & Inventory Specialistto join our Lincoln team in the materials yard.

Our Inventory Specialists operate heavy equipmentto load, unload, and organize building materials for wholesale orders and distribution for company jobs, assist with inventory, and attend to customers and company staff in yard operations, all while maintaining a safe and tidy working environment. This is a full-time position that works year-round. The ideal candidate has forklift and skid steer experience. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required, CDL strongly preferred. Must pass criminal background check and drug screen, if offered the position.
