Job summary

Arhaus is seeking a Yard Driver for outdoor yard operations in Ohio. You will move trailers, operate a spotter or tractor, and record moves in the yard management system, ensuring timely inbound/outbound activity.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, 3–5 years of yard/over-the-road driving, strong safety mindset, and effective communication with a diverse audience. Weekend 12-hour shifts (Fri–Sun) are included, with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL License.
• Meet all DOT Requirements.
• 3–5 years of over-the-road/yard driving experience.
• Ability to train others.
• Understanding warehousing and distribution practices.
• Ability to read documents such as BOLs and freight logs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Logistics Management on move prioritization and equipment utilization.
• Utilize yard management system to obtain next move task and record yard moves.
• Drive tractor-trailer within yard and nearby roads.
• Perform yard audits of trailers as requested.
• Inspect trailers/trucks for defects and submit inspection reports.
• Follow Supply Chain procedures on time and attendance.
• Prioritize safety and quality and ensure compliance with procedures.
