Position Overview
This position is responsible for safely locating, receiving, inspecting, verifying, and documenting assets in a yard environment. It also provides inventory counts and operates various types and sizes of equipment.
The incumbent is expected to model the following practices daily:

Essential Functions
- Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission.
- Verify and document all assets arriving and departing the yard.
- Accurately stage and prep assets to fulfill incoming requests.
- Load and unload assets, conduct inspect procedures, fuel, and report the condition of assets per safety protocols.
- Provide timely updates for all inventory items leaving or returning to the yard through the Shipping and Receiving function.
- Photograph all incoming and outgoing assets and upload pictures following current processes.
- Troubleshoot, communicate and problem-solve potential shipping and receiving delays on assets.
- Perform, reconcile, and complete inventory counts of machines and work tools.
- Requires regular and punctual employee attendance.
- Perform other related duties and fulfill responsibilities as required.

- Strong planning and coordination skills.
- Proficiency with current computer software, related hardware, and machine electronic systems.
- Dexterity, hearing, and talking requirements are constant.
- Visual ability to observe employees in the workplace, analyze operations, and detect situations of concern.
- Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
- Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Ability to conduct safety assessments before starting a task.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Industry experience preferred.
Travel
- Some overnight travel is required.
Physical Requirements
- Extended periods on feet.
- Frequent communication with others, exchanging accurate information.
- Constant movement and use of limbs; requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
- Required to stand, walk, kneel, squat, crawl, bend, and twist.
- May be required to climb and lift items weighing up to and over 50 pounds.
- Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions.
Work Environment
- Regularly works outdoors around moving mechanical parts.
- May be exposed to weather extremes when working outside with inclement weather.
- Noise level may be loud at times.
- Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, dust, steam, high-pressure water, and high-speed rotating equipment.
- Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment.
- Required to perform work in cramped spaces and/or high places.
- Frequently works at a fast pace with interruptions.
