Job summary

Doka is hiring a Yard Laborer for our Girder Facility in Tomball, TX. You will help with material handling, yard upkeep, inventory checks, and general labor to keep production moving safely and efficiently.

The role requires physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to work with forklifts and other yard equipment. You’ll collaborate with welders and fabricators to meet deadlines and maintain a clean, organized site.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or construction preferred.
• Must be able to operate yard equipment safely.
• Physically fit for outdoor labor and lifting tasks.
• Basic understanding of inventory concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Material Handling: load and unload materials and girder components using forklifts.
• Yard Maintenance: keep yard clean, organized and debris-free.
• Inventory Management: track inventory levels and report discrepancies.
• Assist in Production: move materials, tools, and equipment to support production goals.
• Equipment Operation: operate forklifts and skid steers safely and perform routine checks.
• Adhere to Safety Protocols: follow safety guidelines and report concerns promptly.
• Collaboration: work with welders and fabricators to maintain workflow.
• General Labor: perform cleaning, sweeping, and area setup as assigned.
