Job summary

Sims Limited, a global leader in metal recycling and circular solutions, seeks a Yard Manager to oversee the Oklahoma City facility for ferrous and non-ferrous metal processing. You will manage staff, develop strategies and budgets, and drive safety and productivity improvements.

Responsibilities include ensuring alignment with EHS, implementing corporate initiatives, and collaborating with HR on performance management and engagement.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years applicable industry experience with a working understanding of different types of scraps.
• Bachelor’s degree in management, Engineering or other related field preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to find suitable solutions to productivity issues.
• Knowledge of port and ship loading activities a plus.
• Experience interfacing with government agencies a plus.
• Knowledge of shears, balers, mobile equipment as well as requisite tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations

Summary:
