Job summary

Arnold Oil Company is seeking a Yard Laborer to assist the Terminal Supervisor with daily maintenance and repair of facility equipment. You may perform minor tasks independently under limited supervision, following company procedures to ensure safety and efficiency in all weather conditions.

The role involves using hand and light power tools, lifting up to 70 lbs, and collaborating with team members on installations or repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license.
• Some automotive maintenance experience.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
• English communication to understand instructions and interact with supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to company policies and work requirements.
• Maintains work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Keeps designated equipment in good maintenance.
• Performs lubrication, minor repairs and routine maintenance for yard equipment.
• Maintains safe work environment complying with OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Works with team to complete installations or repairs as needed.
• Immediately cleans up spills and hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Skills

Basic mechanical aptitude

Valid Texas driver’s license

Automotive maintenance experience

Follow oral and written instructions

Lifting capability (70 lbs)
