Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lot Organization:
- Arrange and organize vehicles on the lot in a neat and orderly manner.
- Ensure vehicles are properly parked, aligned, and clearly labeled.
- Regularly inspect the lot for safety hazards or maintenance issues.
- Vehicle Presentation:
- Clean and detail vehicles to maintain an attractive appearance.
- Ensure all vehicles are adequately fueled and ready for display or customer delivery.
- Address minor cosmetic issues, such as washing, waxing, and interior cleaning.
- Inventory Management:
- Keep track of the inventory of vehicles on the lot.
- Assist with moving vehicles to different areas as needed.
- Report missing or damaged vehicles to relevant personnel.
- Customer Service:
- Assist customers in locating specific vehicles.
- Provide basic vehicle information.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns related to the lot or vehicles.
- Collaboration:
- Coordinate with sales, service, and other departments for smooth operations.
- Assist team members as needed.
- Maintenance Tasks:
- Perform basic maintenance checks (tires, batteries, fluids).
- Collaborate with the service department for minor repairs.
- Conduct final inspections for leaks or hardware issues.
- Maintain cleanliness inside the shop area.
- Documentation:
- Maintain records of vehicle movements and conditions.
- Complete required paperwork related to lot activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a MVR; CDL is a plus.
