The role requires CDL and experience with yard operations, plus the ability to read yard management docs and maintain logs. Follows safety protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or state-issued license for yard trucks.
• Proven experience operating yard trucks or similar heavy equipment in a manufacturing/logistics setting.
• Basic knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for yard operations.
• Ability to read and interpret yard management documentation and communicate with team members.
• Physical ability to climb, lift, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Operate yard trucks to move trailers between docks, storage areas, and parking spots.
• Inspect trailers and yard equipment for safety and report maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with warehouse supervisors and shipping to prioritize trailer movements.
• Maintain accurate records of trailer locations and movements using yard systems or logs.
