Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring an Equipment Support II - Yard Laborer in California. Pay ranges from $23.10 to $27.00 per hour, paid weekly. This role involves outdoor hands-on work, loading/unloading equipment, and helping maintain organized, safe yard operations.

Responsibilities

• Working outdoors with branch team to construct trench, MAP boxes and hydraulic shoring by hand.
• Load/unload shoring on a sit-down forklift for customers and drivers, ensuring loads are secured.
• Regularly conduct inventory on equipment and perform related duties.
• Pressure washing equipment and returning to stock.
• Occasional painting tasks.
• Organize inventory and keep work area neat and safe.
• Assemble MAP boxes and perform minor repairs on hydraulic systems.
• Collaborate with the team to fill orders safely and efficiently.

What you will enjoy doing:

• Working outdoors(This is NOT a warehouse position!) with fellow branch members constructing trench, MAP boxes and hydraulic shoring by hand.
• Load and unload shoring on a sit-down forklift for customers and drivers ensuring the load and trailer are properly secured.
• Regularly perform an inventory on equipment and other various duties as assigned.
• Pressure Washing equipment and returning to stock
• Occasional painting
• Organizing inventory and keeping work area in order
• Assembling MAP Boxes and doing minor repairs on hydraulic systems
• Working with the team to safety and efficiently filling the orders
