Job summary

Zenith Tech, Inc. is seeking a Yard Laborer / Forklift Operator for its Waukesha shop. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping shop and yard areas organized, maintaining tools and equipment, and assisting technicians.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, valid Driver's License, and strong problem-solving skills. Benefits include competitive compensation, employer-paid medical insurance, and generous PTO.

Position

Yard Laborer / Forklift Operator (Waukesha shop)

Responsibilities

• Keep designated shop and yard areas clean and organized
• Maintain the facility in a clean, neat, orderly, secure condition
• Perform maintenance and repairs to company tools and equipment as needed
• Assist technicians as needed (pull and deliver parts, assist with tear‑downs, parts cleaning, mechanical support, etc.)
• Clean service bay, mop floors, dispose of used oil, filters, and coolants properly
• Complete minor repairs as needed
• Monitor and advise management of needed shop supplies
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record (CDL preferred or ability to obtain)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong technical understanding, good problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness
• Adaptable to new equipment and willing to learn and be trained
• Knowledge and ability to properly use various equipment and tools
• Motivated, punctual, dependable self‑starter with good communication skills
• Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed
• Ability to read a tape measure and use proper lifting techniques
• Ability to tolerate and work in typical heavy shop environment as part of a large team
• Ability to drive a forklift and obtain a CCP Forklift Certification
