Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Yard Jockey to support our ShipCenter operations across our nationwide stores. This role focuses on yard management and execution, coordinating with transportation, shipping, and receiving teams to keep trailers flowing and properly sealed.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of verifiable commercial driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. CDL-A preferred, overtime may be required during peak season.

Qualifications

• High School/G.E.D. or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of verifiable Commercial Driving experience.
• CDL-A Certification preferred.
• Satisfactory driving record and ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Safety-driven mindset and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Overtime possible during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Maintain flow of yard moves.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and secure trailer seals.
• Facilitate daily yard checks to track trailer inventory.
• Adapt to changing priorities and assist on dock as needed.
• Maintain trailer yard integrity and accuracy.
• Ensure trailers are secured and sealed as required.
• Maintain a safe, professional work environment.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and good communication.
