Job summary

Prestage in Camden, SC is seeking a Yard Jockey Driver to manage movement and staging of trailers within the yard, dock area, and plant. The role emphasizes safe trailer handling and maintaining an organized yard to support production and shipping operations.

Successful candidates will have experience with yard jockey equipment, material handling, and forklift operation; CDL is preferred. The position offers a daytime schedule with potential overtime and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience operating yard jockey equipment.
• Forklift experience and material handling skills are required.
• CDL and truck driving experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate with a safety-first mindset to move trailers within yard and loading locations.
• Maintain order of the truck yard and stage trailers for operations.
• Assist with docking/undocking trailers and ensure safe movement of trailers.
• Partner with crane operator to hook/unhook cages and assist with cleaning and prep.
• Inspect containers and perform yard checks; ensure accurate load documentation.
