Military Produce Group is seeking a reliable Yard Jockey to safely move trailers to and from loading docks, maintaining organized trailer flow and supporting dock operations. The role emphasizes safety and efficiency in warehouse and transportation processes.

Qualified candidates should hold a valid Class A CDL, have yard truck experience, and be comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Must have a valid Real ID- Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Experience operating a yard truck, tractor-trailer, or similar equipment.
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of yard safety rules and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate yard truck to move trailers within the yard, between docks.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard trucks and trailers.
• Ensure trailers are properly secured and positioned at docks for loading and unloading.
• Maintain accurate records of trailer moves, placements, and yard inventory.
• Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and drivers to coordinate trailer movement.
• Follow all company policies, DOT regulations, and safety procedures.
• Inspect and report any equipment defects, damages, or safety hazards immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness inside of trailers.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to climb in and out of trucks frequently.

Schedule

• Sunday- Thursday; 7AM - 4PM

Pay Rate

• $23.00/HR
