Job summary

Menards in Sullivan, MO is seeking team members to safely move trailers around the facility and prepare freight for Menards stores. You will follow safety procedures, perform pre-trip inspections, ensure proper freight securement, and communicate with yard supervisors using the yard management system.

Qualifications

• Must possess a good driving record.
• Experience operating tractor/trailer or willingness to learn.
• Proof of valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently move trailers to different areas of the facility.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions while driving and operating equipment.
• Open and close swinging trailer doors.
• Ensure proper freight securement of all loaded trailers.
• Communicate with area supervisors using a yard management system.
• Perform pre-trip inspection on trailers and safety check of tractor.
