Job summary

Primo Brands in Taunton, MA is seeking a Yard Utility to support shipping and receiving operations. You will operate a forklift, move trailers with a yard truck, and assist as a Dock Coordinator as needed.

The role requires a High School diploma, 21+ with a valid CDL A, clean MVR, and strong teamwork. Shifts are 5:00am-1:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday–Friday, with some holidays/weekends as needed. Health, retirement, and other benefits are provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to perform shipping / receiving activities.

• Perform the role of Dock Coordinator as needed.
• Manage minute-to-minute shipping / receiving activities.
• Utilize PC, SAP, and time management skills to prioritize workload.
• Drive operational results.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

• Safely operate a yard truck to move trailers accurately and efficiently from the yard to a shipping door for shipment to customers
• Perform in the role of Dock Coordinator as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older (DOT requirement)
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR): Only one license held, no DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene of an accident, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL, or at-fault fatal accidents, driving-related suspensions, revocations, or cancellations; disqualifying offenses; or reckless driving incidents
• Prior forklift or heavy equipment experience preferred with prior experience in manufacturing desired
• Strong computer skills desired
• Exposure to warehouse inventory scanners and basic equipment maintenance preferred
• Ability to work self-directed & accomplish daily workload with minimal supervision
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in a team-based environment
• Ability to interact with various internal contacts to manage the flow of work
• Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency
• Ability to move/handle 50lbs and get up and down a yard truck/forklift frequently throughout the day
• Able to sit for long periods of time and drive backward as needed
