Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Class-A CDL required
• One year of yard jockey experience required
• Experience in food/beverage industry preferred
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task
• Proven organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Correctly confirms the safe operational condition of vehicles and/or equipment before and after use
• Ensure vehicles and/or equipment and seal inspections
• Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse staff on movement and sequencing
• Safely operate material handling equipment to load or unload materials and secure trailers
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Maintain trailer yard accuracy through daily audits
• Ensure food safety and regulatory compliance for the position
• Notify management of food safety issues as needed
• Adhere to SQF requirements for the role
• Collaborate with supervision to resolve food safety/quality issues
• Perform other duties as required
