Description

Job Summary

This position requires a motivated individual with tractor trailer operation and forklift experience. The role involves jockeying and organizing trailers, as well as loading and unloading trucks (CRI and outside haulers). All trucks must be backed into docks, placed in the yard, and unloaded/reloaded efficiently. The dock staff ensures a steady flow of trucks to supply the sorting line and balers, maintains accurate paperwork, documents load issues with photographs, and ensures trucks are clean and swept after unloading. They also load supplies for delivery and check the vehicle's condition upon departure.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate with employees, dock, dispatch, and drivers to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
• Work with the dock supervisor to schedule trailer placement and removal efficiently.
• Ensure proper trailer inspection and complete all paperwork accurately.
• Keep trailers clean and ready for delivery.
• Maintain an organized work area in the yard, dock, and storage areas.
• Assist drivers with their needs and requests, consulting with supervisors if necessary.
• Report equipment or load issues with photographs to customer service promptly.

Requirements
