Elements Lawn & Landscape in Austin, TX is hiring a Yard Helper to support daily operations at the landscaping yard. You will assist with equipment prep, loading/unloading, inventory, and general yard maintenance to keep the site safe and organized.

The role requires physical stamina, comfort working outdoors, and reliable teamwork to help crews start each day prepared and ready to work. Training is provided, and PPE is used as required.

Qualificações

• Physical ability for manual labor including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Training provided as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Keep yard, shop, storage area, and equipment staging area clean and safe.
• Load/unload landscaping equipment, tools, plants, mulch, soil, sod, and materials.
• Prepare equipment, tools, and supplies for daily crew assignments.
• Organize and store tools, equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Assist with equipment cleaning, inspections, and reporting malfunctions.
• Maintain trucks, trailers, and company vehicles tidy and organized.
• Assist with deliveries and inventory storage; notify supervisor when replenishment is needed.
• Perform general yard upkeep: sweeping, debris removal, weed control, designated areas.

Thanks for understanding.We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Yard Helper to support daily operations at our landscaping yard. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment while assisting with equipment preparation, material handling, vehicle and trailer organization, and general yard maintenance.The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, comfortable working outdoors, and willing to assist wherever needed to help our landscape crews start each day prepared and ready to work.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe yard, shop, storage area, and equipment staging area.Assist with loading and unloading landscaping equipment, tools, plants, mulch, soil, sod, and other materials.Prepare equipment, tools, and supplies for daily crew assignments.Organize and store tools, equipment, materials, and supplies in their designated locations.Assist with basic equipment cleaning, inspections, and reporting damaged or malfunctioning equipment.Help maintain trucks, trailers, and other company vehicles by keeping them clean and organized.Assist with receiving deliveries, verifying materials, and moving inventory to appropriate storage areas.Support yard inventory by identifying low supplies and notifying the appropriate supervisor when materials need to be replenished.Perform general yard upkeep, including sweeping, debris removal, weed control, and maintaining designated work areas.Assist with minor maintenance tasks and other duties as assigned.Follow all company safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).Communicate with crew leaders, drivers, and management to ensure equipment and materials are ready when needed.RequirementsPhysical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.Basic knowledge of landscaping tools, equipment, and techniques (training provided as needed).Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Good communication and teamwork skills.Reliable transportation to job sites or designated meeting points.Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping.Commitment to maintaining safety protocols and proper tool usage.
