Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced general labor associate to support nursery operations and customer service. The role involves yard organization, equipment maintenance, loading and unloading plants, and helping customers throughout the store area.

You will work outdoors in varied weather, lift heavy items, and follow all safety rules. The position requires flexibility, readiness to work multiple shifts, and a strong commitment to helping customers and teammates

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience with operating power tools, hand tools, and other equipment preferred.
Ability to follow specific instructions and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Organize and maintain the nursery yard to ensure a clean, orderly, and attractive appearance.
Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on nursery equipment, including vehicles, forklifts, and hand tools.
Assist with loading and unloading plants, trees, and other nursery products into a variety of vehicles while providing friendly customer service.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks in the yard.
Demonstrate availability to work any day of the week.
Other duties and tasks as assigned.
