Job summary

Alaska West Express, Inc. is seeking a reliable individual to load, unload, move, and store freight while maintaining the Fairbank, AK terminal.

The role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 75 pounds regularly, and occasional 100-pound lifts, with a focus on safety and efficient yard operations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and speak English to communicate with coworkers.

• Adherence to safety policies and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and store freight in the yard.
• Inspect yard equipment and submit daily inspection forms.
• Operate forklifts and connect/disconnect trailers.
• Keep yard and storage areas clean and organized.
• Report safety hazards immediately to supervisor.
• Work in various weather conditions and follow safety procedures.
