Job summary

Action Floor Systems, LLC is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to move lumber in the yard and ensure an orderly inventory system. You will safely unload incoming lumber and support production with efficient material handling and yard tasks.

The role emphasizes pre/post forklift inspections, keeping the area tidy, and following tagging and lot numbering procedures. Excellent safety practices and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience safely operating forklifts to move lumber.
• Knowledge of inventory processes and labeling.
• Ability to perform pre/post inspections and keep area clean.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to handle material and goods.
• Load and unload lumber.
• Follow proper inventory processes (numbering truck loads, tagging stickered packs with footages and lot numbers).
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Properly stack and block placement for air drying green lumber.
• Assist in other yard tasks as needed.
