Job summary

National Construction Rentals, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Fence Helper to assist the Fence Foreman with installation and maintenance of fences according to NCR standards. This is a full-time, day shift role in the construction sector.

You will support fence operations, help ensure a clean, safe work environment, and uphold high levels of customer satisfaction while representing NCR on site. The position involves outdoor work, physical activity, and following strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in following detailed instructions and making occasional independent decisions.
• Capability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation manuals, and maintenance instructions.
• Competence in performing mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Application of common-sense reasoning to effectively execute detailed written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspections and testing of vehicles and equipment for safe operation.
• Load trucks with necessary equipment and materials.
• Attend job sites with Foreman and meet with customers to review project details.
• Install fence poles, erect fences, and tension wire to NCR specs.
• Clean job sites and ensure proper equipment storage.
• Maintain trucks and restock materials for fence installations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in safety meetings.
