Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Laborer to safely perform general labor duties at hauling sites, transfer stations, and landfills. The role includes yard cleanup, fueling vehicles, operating basic site equipment, and maintaining facilities.

You will support daily site operations, follow safety guidelines, and work with a team to keep our sites clean and efficient. This position offers opportunities for growth within a leading environmental services company.

Qualifications

• General labor duties at hauling sites, transfer stations, or landfills.
• Comfort with manual tasks and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and directions from supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Clean up work areas.
• Fuel vehicles and equipment.
• Clean track on track type and related equipment.
• Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pick up.
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment, etc.
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work.
• Install temporary wind fences, as required.
• Direct traffic at the site as necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
