Job summary

Brown County Construction is seeking a Yard Laborer to join our team in the United States. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining a safe, organized rental yard, handling equipment, assisting customers, and ensuring tools are ready for use.

You will lift and move heavy gear, inspect equipment for hazards, perform minor maintenance, and follow OSHA safety procedures. The position supports daily operations and requires physical stamina; prior warehouse or construction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Basic understanding of equipment operation; willingness to learn.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and arrange rental equipment safely.
• Keep the rental yard clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Help customers pick up and return equipment, guiding basic operation.
• Inspect equipment for damage, report issues to management.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA regulations while operating equipment.
• Assist other staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Track equipment check-ins, check-outs, and maintenance records.
