Job summary

QVC Group is hiring for a Yard Operations Associate at our Piney Flats Fulfillment Center in Tennessee. You will move trailers, coordinate yard activity, and support inbound and outbound operations on a Sunday-Wednesday 6:00am–4:30pm shift, reporting to the Inbound Area Manager.

Onsite role with relocation not available; you will monitor trailer flow, update manifest data, perform load audits, and work with drivers and vendors to keep yard operations running smoothly in support of the HSN

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience operating yard tractors or similar equipment.
• Safely maneuver trailers in a yard and dock environment.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers to support inbound and outbound operations per daily schedule.
• Manage trailer flow, update status in Scan‑Data/TMS, log times and manifests.
• Perform load audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate yard activities: meet drivers, dispatch trailers, schedule moves.
• Coordinate repairs and fueling with external vendors; maintain yard organization.

• Under the direction of the Operations Manager and Area Manager, you will move trailers to support our Inbound and Outbound operations in the yard observing the established daily schedule. Where You’ll Work

• This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Piney Flats, TN Fulfillment Center daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You’ll Do

• Transport and position trailers to support inbound and outbound operations, moving units between yard locations and dock doors according to the established daily schedule.
• Manage trailer flow and documentation, including updating trailer status in Scan‑Data/TMS, recording load start/end times, and ensuring accurate manifest processing.
• Monitor loading activity and complete manual load audit procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate yard activities, including meeting drivers, dispatching trailers, scheduling moves, and completing required paperwork.
• Support operational continuity by coordinating repairs and fueling with external vendors, maintaining yard organization, and responding to priority needs as they arise.
