Job summary

QVC Group, Inc. in Piney Flats, TN is seeking an on-site Yard Operator to support inbound and outbound operations by moving trailers and coordinating yard activity. This first shift runs Sunday to Wednesday from 6:00am to 4:30pm.

You will manage trailer flow, update status in Scan‑Data/TMS, and ensure accurate manifest processing while maintaining yard organization and coordinating repairs and fueling with vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of experience operating yard tractors or similar equipment.
• Safely maneuver trailers in a yard and dock environment.

Responsibilities

• Transport and position trailers to support inbound and outbound operations, moving units between yard locations and dock doors according to the established daily schedule.
• Manage trailer flow and documentation, including updating trailer status in Scan‑Data/TMS, recording load start/end times, and ensuring accurate manifest processing.
• Monitor loading activity and complete manual load audit procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate yard activities, including meeting drivers, dispatching trailers, scheduling moves, and completing required paperwork.
• Support operational continuity by coordinating repairs and fueling with external vendors, maintaining yard organization, and responding to priority needs as they arise.

Where You'll Work

• This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Piney Flats, TN Fulfillment Center daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
