RSS Mobile Trailer Repair in Groveport, OH is seeking a CDL-A Yard Driver to safely move 53 ft. semi-trailers within our warehouse and dock area.

The role emphasizes high situational awareness, operation of tractor trailers, and strict adherence to safety procedures. The position is full-time, with Saturday-Monday shifts, starting at $24/hour with pay increases after 90 days and after one year based on performance and attendance.

Qualifications

• Must possess CDL-A license.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Move 53 ft. semi-trailers safely within the warehouse.
• Navigate tight spaces and dock areas to load/unload trailers onsite.
• Maneuver and back trailers safely and consistently.
• Follow safety procedures and PTO policies.
• OT pay after 40 hours, with potential increases based on performance.
• Home daily from assignment.

About The Job The Yard Driver is responsible for moving 53 ft. semi-trailers safely within the warehouse. This includes navigating tight spaces, moving trailers in and out of loading docks and parking spots. The ideal candidate would possess a high level of special awareness, be proficient in operating tractor trailers, and always prioritize safety.

• Full time work
• $24/hour starting pay depending on shift
• Pay increase after 90 days and 1 year of employment (based on performance/attendance)

Shifts

• Saturday-Monday: 5:30AM-5:30PM.

Job Description

• Primary tasks will be basic yard tractor operations, dropping and pulling trailers in dock doors and parking them onsite.
• Safely maneuver and back semi-trailers.
• Safely enter/exit semi-trailer multiple times an hour, place and remove wheel chocks, lift and open doors.
• Follow safety procedures.
• OT after 40 hours at paid time and half.
• Home Daily-never leave the yard!
• No loading/unloading merchandise.
• Truck driving preferred but not required.
• CDL-A required
