Job summary

Maersk is hiring Company Drivers for our Logan Township yard. Shifts run Sun-Wed (OT during peak season) and Wed-Sat (OT during peak season), starting at 6 PM and running until 5 AM. A valid Class A license and medical card are required, with at least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience and knowledge of yard operations.

Responsibilities include shuttle movements between off-site yards and yard switching. Competitive benefits and a union position accompany the role.

• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor trailer experience.
• Knowledge of yard switching and yard truck operation.
• Willing to work OT during peak season and at short notice.
• Able to pass background and drug screens.
• Knowledge of USDOT rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Shuttle trailers to and from off-site yards.
• Perform yard switching and operate yard truck as required.
• Work within shift pattern SUN-WED or WED-SAT with mandatory OT during peak season.

SHIFT: SUN-WED (OT WHEN NEEDED MANDATORY DURING PEAK SEASON) WED-SAT (OT WHEN NEEDED MANDATORY DURING PEAK SEASON)START: 6PM -5AM

Minimum requirements:

• Valid Class A Drivers License
• Valid Medical Card
• Must have at least 1 full year of verifiable tractor trailer experience also knowledge of yard switching and yard truck because you will be driving a yard truck
• Must be flexible and able to work OT when required (OT mandatory during peak season)
• Able to pass criminal background and drug screening
• Knowledge of USDOT Rules and regulations
• This position requires you shuttle trailers to and from off site yards as well as switching in the yard

The above stated pay is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws
