Job summary

Clean Harbors Kimball, NE is seeking a Yard Driver to perform industrial labor outdoors and within the plant environment. This entry‑level, full‑time role offers $26.50 hourly with overtime opportunities and potential for career growth.

Job description

We Build with Passion – Clean Harbors Kimball, NE

Yard Driver position. Responsible for performing industrial labor and other physically demanding work outdoors, under potentially adverse conditions, as well as within the facility/plant work environment.

This is an entry‑level, full‑time position offering $26.50 Hourly, with OT, along with career growth and advancement opportunities.

Must have Yellow‑Iron HEO: payloader, backhoe, front/back‑end loader, excavator, etc., and be able to work rotating shifts.

4‑12 hour rotating (6 a.m.–6 p.m. days/6 p.m.–6 a.m. nights) shifts per week.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Operates industrial equipment, included but not limited to forklift.
  • Performs general labor throughout the facility to prepare materials for the incineration process.
  • Ensures the safety of himself or herself as well as those around them.
  • Performs manual tasks such as cleaning up spills when necessary while taking all safety precautions necessary to prevent injury.
  • Follows all standard operating procedures.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent – required.
  • Previous experience with industrial or manual labor.
  • Yellow‑Iron HEO: Payloader, backhoe, front/back end loader, excavator, etc. – required.
  • Ability to work in adverse environments (cold/heat).
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • DOT training.
  • Proficiency in Windows‑based applications.
  • Climb on and off forklifts.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. from the ground to your waste.
  • Climb up and down vertical ladders.
  • Capable of reaching out, over, and down exerting a force.
  • 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected – depth perception is critical.
  • 10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit‑ups (to determine if fit).
  • Good hand/eye coordination.
  • Punctuality and consistent attendance.
  • Respirator fit test upon hire – must be clean‑shaven (mustache acceptable).
  • Excellent commitment to health and safety.
  • Accountability and punctuality.
  • Background check, drug screen and physical – required.
  • Must work rotating shifts days/nights.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license – required.
