Job summary

Rehrig Pacific is hiring a Yard Driver in Joliet, IL. This role involves safe yard moves using company trucks and performing inspections, checks, and required documentation.

You will collaborate with dispatch and site staff, load/unload trailers, and may operate a forklift after training. A CDL Class A is preferred, and a DOT physical is required to ensure safety and compliance across our production environment.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license preferred.
• Current DOT Physical Card required or in process.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks.

• Complete truck inspections, yard checks, and required paperwork.
• Communicate equipment needs and repairs to management.
• Collaborate with dispatch, plant management, and site personnel.
• Load/unload trailers and operate forklifts (training provided).
• Maintain clean equipment and follow sanitation protocols.

What You Bring:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
